How could the edges be turned into a property of Mom’s Co-op?

The edges of the street blocks are often also places of opportunity. A walled site can be expanded into a new home.

The interior combines both residential and commercial (e.g. convenience store) types. The distribution is determined by the conditions of the site. The two intersect with each other, making it easy for mothers to move through them.

Depending on site constraints, structures of different widths are used as non-generic plans. For example the narrowest part is used for storage and the widest part for sleeping.

The spaces on either side of the wall present different attitudes: the openness of the business to the public, and the privacy of the residence.
